This course is for anyone interested in learning more about the design and planning phases for cabling installations. The installations could be local area networks, copper twisted pair cabling fiber optic cabling center installations. The course looks at the considerations designers should consider at a high level.
From initial project engagement and planning steps for designing a cabling system, this course will guide the student through. It discusses designer roles and responsibilities, project cycles, who’s involved, as well as considerations for the specification and bid.
A general knowledge of common terms with regards to cabling would be advantageous but no pre-requisite experience is required.
Comprised of a webcast, this course uses audio and visual animation to aid the learner.
