Audience

Course Description

This course helps the student understand the correct use of the field test equipment required for verification of fiber optic cabling systems. It discusses equipment options, correct set up of testers, how and what to test. When completed with the NTIT20 Copper Cabling Testing and Troubleshooting course, student will be issued NTIT (Network Test, Inspection and Troubleshooting) Certification and Badge.

Pre-requisite Experience

A general knowledge of common terms with regard to fiber optic cabling would be advantageous, however no pre-requisite experience is required.

Course Format

Comprised of a webcast containing interactive audio and visual elements as well as a final assessment, this course is completed online.
